Paul and Andrew raise money in memory of their grandparents

Donation protected
Myself and Andrew are running the Chester Half Marathon on the 18th May 2025 in memory of our Grandparents.

Paul - I lost my Nan in October 2024 and just 69 days later, in December 2024 Grandad passed away. In that short period of time he had to re-live the pain of losing Nan every day.

Andrew - I am running in the Chester Half Marathon in memory of my Nan and Grandad, who both bravely faced the challenges of Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia, this disease took them both.

Alzheimer’s is a vile disease that affects not only those diagnosed but also their families and friends. It took away so many memories from my Nan and Grandad, by raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association UK. We may one day find a cure to this vile disease
We are hoping to raise money in aid of Alzheimer's Society, no matter how big or small, and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us both.

More information can be found about Alzheimer's Society:

One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. We don’t want anyone to face the realities of dementia alone. That’s why your support is vital.
