My mother had a stroke and lost use of her left side.

Hi, My is Andrew and I am in need of financial assistance to help my mother who has had a serious stroke that has left her left side paralyzed. She is out of hospital now after a two month stay.

unfortunately there are no PSWs available in our area that are covered by OHIP, or any other organization. As she requires help with sitting up, moving out of bed to her wheelchair as well as personal care in bed, we have found two wonderful part time PSWs to help. The problem is that between their wages and equipment rental, we are experiencing a monthly bill of $4000. Unfortunately I am not able to continue paying. That leaves her in a precarious situation. We are at our wits end. If she lived in a different town or city, she would have 24/7 PSW care provided at no cost.

so I have turned to gofundme to try to buy her some time in her home to allow us a chance to find a better solution.
