My mom was forced into prostitution as a child in her area so Hispanic guys could obtain their u.s citizenship. became a mother at 12, and just survived a stroke while battling homelessness — I’m asking for help so she can finally have a chance at a safe life.
Hi everyone,
No child should ever have to live the life my mom was forced into.
Before she even had the chance to grow up, my mother was exploited by the very person who should have protected her—her own mother. Instead of safety and love, she was put into dangerous situations and forced to endure unimaginable abuse as a child.
By the time she was only 10 years old, she was being forced into prostitution. Men were brought into the home, and she had no way to escape the situation she was born into. At just 12 years old, she gave birth to her first child, my oldest brother Mario. She was still just a child herself, trying to survive in a world that had already taken so much from her.
The trauma she experienced so young has followed her throughout her entire life. She has struggled with addiction, homelessness, and the lasting emotional scars of everything she endured.
Recently, things became even more serious. My mom was hospitalized after suffering a stroke. Thankfully she survived, but she is still recovering and facing an incredibly difficult road ahead.
Right now, she is trying to rebuild her life again while battling addiction, health issues, and homelessness. No matter how hard life has been, she has always fought to keep going. I truly believe she deserves a real chance to heal and find stability.
That’s why I’m starting this fundraiser with a goal of **$5,000** to help my mom get back on her feet.
The funds will go toward:
• Safe temporary housing so she isn’t living on the streets
• Medical care and recovery support after her stroke
• Addiction recovery resources
• Basic necessities like food, clothing, and transportation
• Helping her take the first steps toward rebuilding a stable life
My mom has spent her entire life surviving circumstances that no child or adult should ever have to face. I’m asking for help so that she can finally have the chance to heal and live with dignity.
