My mom is one of the strongest and most caring people I know. She’s always been the one taking care of everyone else — her family, friends, and anyone who needed help — even when she was struggling herself. But now, she’s facing something no one should have to face alone.

She’s been diagnosed with throat cancer, and before she can begin radiation treatments, she has to have all of her teeth removed. Because of where the cancer is located, the radiation will target her throat and mouth area, and if her bad teeth aren’t removed first, it could cause severe infections that might stop her from getting the treatment she needs.

This has to be done as soon as possible before the cancer spreads further. The hardest part is that her insurance isn’t covering the dental surgery, and the cost is overwhelming. She simply can’t afford it — and without it, her cancer treatments can’t begin.

Watching her worry about how to pay for this, on top of fighting for her life, breaks my heart. My mom deserves a chance to fight. She deserves to get better.

I’m asking for help to raise enough money to cover her tooth removal surgery and related expenses so she can move forward with her cancer treatments without any more delays. Every dollar, every share, every prayer means more to us than words can say.
