hello everyone, on 8/24 my mom fell and broke her thigh bone. She was admitted in the hospital but didn’t get to have her surgery till 9/1. All went well post surgery, unfortunately 4th day post op she has lung complications and had difficulty breathing. Oxygen support doesn’t alleviate her, so it was decided to intubate her and admit her in ICU. She started having kidney issues as well so she needed hemodialysis, and already had 2 rounds of it. Sadly, she is in the Philippines and what that means is, she has no medical insurance. My older brother had been financially strained with all the medical bills my mom’s care is accruing daily. We both are challenged with her daily meds, laboratories, procedures and diagnostics. With this, I am asking for your kindness to help out, since this is really heavy on my brother and his family. Not only is he dealing with the emotional torment, but also with the financial strain! My mom will greatly appreciate all of your kindness in assisting her during this time.
