Please Help Me Help My Mom

My name is Asha and the amazing purple haired wonder in the photo is my Mom Tracy. I'm an only child which made it almost automatic for each of my parents to become my two best friends and of course my heros.

A month ago my Mom Tracy went to the hospital for a biopsy on her lungs and never came home again. Since I live in Ontario and she in BC I quickly pooled what little funds I could to go be with her. Upon my arrival I was told that my Mom Tracy has stage 4 metastatic lung cancer and that I had already had my last Birthday with her. After a plane ticket and a month living in the hospital and then the hospice with my mom, we had just enough between the two of us to get me back to Ontario in time not to lose my disability income, but that was it. Im now stuck in Ontario after depleting any finances available. I've been applying for any help I can get just to get back to her and get her whatever she needs to eat and be comfortable. My amazing parents both raised me to be strong and do everything for myself however, if this devastating situation has taught me nothing else...it's that it's ok to ask for help when you really do need it. I think it's safe to say we've never needed help more than now. Thank you for taking the time just to read my story <3 that in itself is true kindness!
