Support for my Mom and Greg After Fire Loss

My name is Jackie O'Camb. My Mom and her husband Greg have lost their home to the Eaton Fire.

The fire spread so rapidly due to extreme winds forcing them to evacuate with their two pups, Maggie and Buddy, but very little else. They were unable to collect their two beloved turtles of 12 years, Zippy and Flash, who had dug in to hibernate for the winter.

They returned the next day to find their entire street and several surrounding blocks devastated by the fire including their local pharmacy, two grocery stores and corner veterinarian.

Access to the house is limited, but a neighbor informed us today that one turtle did not survive the heat. We're hoping that Flash might have dug in deeper and maybe, just maybe he'll be okay.

Our family and friends are in such shock and deeply saddened by all this loss that all we want to do is help. I thought I'd set up this GoFundMe page as a way to ease some of the burden while Mom and Greg deal with figuring out where they will find temporary shelter and restore all they have lost.
