Hey guys! I’m Kelly and I’m trying to raise money for my parents. My mother is physically disabled and medically retired… and my father was hit by a car while riding his bicycle on Friday, April 22, 2022. He has a broken hip socket, pelvis, and a femoral head fracture. He also has 4 broken ribs, a partially collapsed lung, and a concussion as he was knocked unconscious.

He had surgery yesterday (April 25, 2022). They repaired the hip and pelvis with plates and screws. The femur has to heal on it’s own. He will have to be completely non weight bearing for 3 months. He will not be able to go back to work for AT LEAST 4 months… potentially 6 months or longer. He was JUST made permanent at his job (which he’s been working at for over a year). His benefits were due to be active on May 2, 2022. He will now be out of work with no pay and no disability to supplement income.
