9 year old me would be so proud of myself as I’m about to participate in the 2026 London marathon for diabetes uk and I need your help to help raise £2800 for this amazing charity. When I was 9 I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and this completely changed my life from how I complete everyday activities to the harder decisions made. I had to learn to mature quicker and look after myself from a younger age. I have to make hundreds of extra decisions everyday to keep myself alive. And it’s not just me that has to do this but hundreds of thousands of others living with diabetes right now. Diabetes uk has been such an amazing charity in helping me throughout my challenges and I want to give something back and hopefully aid more research into a world without diabetes. Any donations would mean the world to me and everyone else living with diabetes.
