Super excited to be taking on my first ever marathon in London on Sunday 27th April.

I've decided that I'll be running the marathon thinking of my lovely Grandad who has been faced with a host of health issues over the last few years, including a stroke just last year. He's a real trooper - in his own words, "if they want a tough man, then they have one in me..." so what better person to have in mind as I take on the miles!

When I asked Grandad which charity he would like me to run for, he said it had to be for music. Grandad is a jazz musician and his love of music is the thing that gets him through

We decided on Blackpool Music School (BMS) to be my cause, which is a small charity run school with a big passion for music. It provides affordable music for the local community, who wouldn't otherwise have access to it.

I appreciate every penny shared with this fabulous charity and the difference it will make to providing music - me and Grandad know just how much music matters.
