<div>The death of a child is one of the worst things that can happen to any parent. Most parents who have lost a child are in so much pain even though they have found ways to cope on the surface.

<div>As a parent who has lost and has resolved my pain, I want to be able to help parents (and grandparents) who have lost a child, no matter their age. From a miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, young-aged child loss or adult child loss.

<div>This fund is set up in memory of my baby boy Morakinyo Caleb who died at the age of 7 months old. It is dedicated to supporting bereaved parents: fathers, mothers and relatives in finding new meaning to life after a child's death.

<div>This will mainly involve Free Away Weekends in the UK for bereaved parents annually. We will develop other initiatives as we go along.

<div>The weekend breaks will be made available for free to bereaved parents as we run solely on donations.

<div>During the weekend away, the workshops will be a mix of practical sessions, and informal discussions to support grievers through their grief journey.

<div>Attendees are free to participate as much or as little as they want.
</div>

<div>Most importantly, this is an opportunity to spend a weekend with people who truly understand how it feels to be a bereaved parent.

<div>The weekend retreats will be facilitated by our team. Me in the capacity of a bereaved parent and also as a Grief &amp; Loss Specialist. The team comprise bereaved parent volunteers and Grief specialists.

<div>We ran our first retreat in 2022 and plans are underway to run the second retreat. The plan is to run an annual retreat.
</div>

<div>Extra funds will also be used to fund or part fund grievers who need more professional help but don't have the finances to get the help they need.
