Helping my homeless mom fix her truck

Hi, my name is Laura. I am trying to help my 69 year old and my 39 year old brother, who has squizoprenia. They live in their truck in San Diego. It is hard to explain why they finish living in their truck but life put them there a year ago. My moms truck is an old ford that my grandpa left her when passed away. Needs repair for 8k. This is the only safe place they have and the vehicle they use to go to their doctor’s appointments and to buy food. I had never asked for money in my life, but I needed to try anything to help them.

Mi hermano tiene esquizofrenia y mi madre lleva años intendando buscarle ayuda, sin exito. Por circunstancias de la vida acabaron viviendo en un viejo ford que mi madre heredo de mi abuelo cuando fallecio, y que ahora su reparcion cuesta 8k. Es donde duermen y el vehiculo que usan para comprar comida e ir a citas medicas. Nunca en mi vida he pedido dinero pero llegados a este punto no se de que otra manera ayudarlos.
