My home town of Stronie Śl in Poland
Donation protected
Hi my name is Iwona and I am here to ask for your help. Stronie Śl in south of Poland is a small town I was raised in,most of my family lived there all their life and our family history is in every corner of this place , from walks down the river, sledging down the bank of the dam in the winter ( as a kid) , hiking the local mountains and Generally having a great time. Recently my parents moved back into town after my grandad passed away so now we are now back where we belong❤️ the town may be small but it’s beautiful and the people are lovely and friendly. They also made it into a charming mountain resort after the big factory has closed down which back in the glory days supported majority of the people in town and gave them jobs. Over last weekend bad weather caused a terrible flood and result of that nearly a 120 year-old dam failed in its banks to protect Stronie and it’s people. The damage caused is incredible. People lost their homes jobs and even lives. I’m asking you to support us to help us rebuild and hopefully bring some of the faith back to people who are still there thank you
All donations will be transferred straight over to a fundraiser paying in directly to my town. Mr Sebastian Szczęsny looks after the fundraiser in Poland. Please click the link to see the full details :Stronie Śląskie
our joint efforts and all the money raised will be given to the Town Hall of Stronie Śl who will then invest it to rebuild the town❤️
