My hero, my friend, my dad

Hi, my name is Brandon Macdonald. I’m here trying to raise money for my dad, Bruce MacDonald. Last year my parents informed me with news that no one should hear about their loved one, that my father had got cancer, Hodgkin’s lymphoma. My dad told me that it was on the rarer side of cancers. Don’t really think that eases the mind. He’s gone through his treatments of chemo, and now he is going to be having a stem cell transfusion. My parents leave for his procedure this month (March 24th) and won’t be back until April 29th. 

He has applied for unemployment but was rejected due to him not working for the past year, even though he was the best worker at his Walmart for over 20 years!

Honestly, I didn’t want to come here…I didn’t want to ask help from others. Everyone on this planet is going through something, whether it’s big, small, somebody somewhere is dealing with hardships. But if theres a chance that this could relieve any type of stress, anxiety, sadness from my parents, I’ll take it. To see your parents cry, down, almost defeated…that is a pain indescribable. All you want to do is help them, take their pain away, like they once did for you when you were a kid. I apologize for venting. What I’m trying to say is I just want them to have one less stress right now, till he gets back on his feet (cause he is going to beat it! promise you that) and any type of donation would help that. Whether it’s a dollar or hell even a damn motivational card! (Never used gofundme before so don’t know how you would send that) but for them to just know that their are people out there rooting for him; it would give him that extra boost to the finish line. Know there is a lot of good people still walking around on this planet, I wish you only the best, and to always enjoy the little things.
