Walking for Safer Motherhood - Every Mother Counts

Hi everyone,

I’ve started this fundraiser because safe pregnancy and childbirth should never be a privilege—it should be a basic human right. Yet, around the world (and even here in the U.S.), too many mothers don’t have access to the care they need.

That’s why I’m raising money for Every Mother Counts, an incredible organization that works to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere.

My personal challenge: I will be walking until I reach my fundraising goal of $300. That means every donation keeps me moving forward—mile after mile, step after step. My goal is to walk at least 50 miles, but if it takes more to reach $300, I’ll keep going.

Becoming a mother myself has made me realize just how critical support during pregnancy and childbirth really is. No mother should face unnecessary risks simply because of where she lives or what resources she has access to.
