My first ever marathon

Hello, I’m Eliane (Lia), and I’m excited to share that I will be running the London Marathon for the first time in 2025 while raising funds for SeeNepal. This UK-registered charity is dedicated to restoring sight, providing essential eye care, and transforming lives in Nepal’s remote areas.

In Nepal, countless people lack access to basic eye care, leaving them unnecessarily blind or visually impaired and unable to live their lives to the fullest. Your support can help change this. By donating, you’ll directly contribute to improving the lives of children, adults, and the elderly, giving them the gift of sight and a brighter future.

To date, SeeNepal has provided eye tests for 2,177 individuals across three camps (Gorkha, Dolpa, and Lamjung), distributed 1,039 pairs of glasses, and performed 134 life-changing cataract surgeries.

All the donations will go towards funding cataract surgeries, vital eye exams, and affordable glasses for those in need.
