Hi, my name is Brandi, and I’m reaching out during a really difficult time.

My mom is going through something serious, and I need to be with her. Family means everything to me, and right now, being by her side is the most important thing. Unfortunately, I recently started a new job, which means I don’t have any paid time off yet. If I take the time to be with her, I won’t be able to cover my basic expenses like rent, food, and bills.

This has put me in a heartbreaking position—having to choose between being with my mom when she needs me most and keeping up with the demands of a new job.
