Hi, my name is Danielle my dad Stephen got diagnosed with liver cancer in June 2025 up until now he has been coping at home and caring for himself. Up until just recently, he has had 2 hospital admissions, the first one with a huge infection, and we thought we were going to lose him. We got him home for 2 weeks and in that time he has lost 10kg with malnutrition due to the cancer medications causing inflammation of the mouth. Dad is on the pathway of having palliative care planning and hopefully this can be done in the community at my house around his loved ones where he will feel safe and cared for until we can't. My dad has no super due to back surgery years ago and had to retire early due to 2 knee replacements. We want to give him the send off that he wants when the time is up and dont want him to think about money and worry about the cost of his funeral, he doesn'twant to have that burdenfor his children. We want his last memories to be happy and honestly his smile means so much to all of us instead of money, however any little donation will help.
