A couple of weeks ago, my mom was rushed to the emergency room at Northside. We found out she had a mass on the right frontal lobe of her brain. Within less than 24 hours, I had to make the hardest decision of my life — to go through with brain surgery to have it removed. My mom was no longer herself, and it was crucial that the surgery happened right away.
The surgery was very invasive, and since then, she’s been in and out of the hospital. She’s currently in recovery, but because she’s diabetic, it’s taking her body a little longer to heal.
I’m asking for prayers — for strength, healing, and a fast recovery. This has been such a sudden and overwhelming change for us. I’ve never been the type to ask for help, but if you feel led to support her financially in any way, it would mean more than you know. Even though she has insurance, the surgery and hospital costs weren’t fully covered, and we’re trying our best to manage everything that’s come with it.
We’re so thankful for everyone who’s checked in, sent messages, prayed, or simply kept us in your thoughts. Your love and kindness have truly kept me going through all of this. Anything helps — even just sharing this message.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving us through one of the hardest times of our lives. ❤️
