Hello everyone,

My name is Courtney Lawrence, and I am asking for help on behalf of my mother, Schechanna Anashka McLean, and our family of four who live in Strathbogie, Westmoreland, Jamaica.

Hurricane Melisa has left our family homeless. The storm caused extreme flooding and destructive winds that tore apart our home, flooded the inside, damaged our belongings, and destroyed our vehicles. Our home is no longer safe to live in, and my mother and siblings are now displaced and struggling to secure shelter and basic necessities.

We are trying to raise funds to help with:

• Temporary housing/shelter

• Food and clean water

• Clothing and personal essentials

• Materials to begin repairing and rebuilding our home
