I hope this message finds you well. My name is Ibrahim Albaik, a Palestinian from Gaza, and now working as a mechanical engineer in the UK. I am reaching out to you during these challenging times with a heavy heart due to the ongoing crisis in Gaza, particularly concerning my family's situation.

My family, which includes my parents, two sisters, and my sister's family with four children, is currently facing dire circumstances in Gaza. Their homes were tragically destroyed a few months ago, leaving them stranded in the South of Gaza. The recent escalation of conflict has further exacerbated their situation, depriving them of livelihoods and basic necessities.

Over the months, I have been providing financial support to my family, supplemented by their earnings from jobs they held in Turkey. However, due to the unstable internet connectivity in Gaza, they have lost their jobs as they were unable to work remotely. This sudden loss of income has placed an immense burden on our family, and I find myself unable to bear this responsibility alone.

I am urgently raising funds totalling £48.5k to support both my family and my sister's family in evacuating Gaza. These funds will be allocated towards essential living expenses, travel arrangements to ensure their safe evacuation, and ultimately to rebuild a semblance of stability and hope for our families. Every contribution, regardless of size, will make a significant difference in our lives during this critical time.
