my name is Alvin and I’m fundraising to support my family and other families in Springvale, St Elizabeth, who were severely affected by Hurricane Melissa.

Our community was devastated. Flooding and strong winds tore through Springvale, destroying homes, damaging roofs, sweeping away belongings, and leaving many families with nothing. My own family home was completely destroyed, and I’ve attached a YouTube video so people can clearly see the level of destruction we are facing.

Right now, many residents are displaced or living in unsafe conditions. Clean water, food, and basic necessities are hard to access. Some families have lost all their clothes, appliances, and furniture; others are still dealing with deep water and mud inside their homes.

I’m raising funds to help:

• Repair and rebuild damaged homes in Springvale

• Provide food, clean water, and emergency supplies

• Replace lost clothing and essential household items

• Support elderly and vulnerable people who cannot recover on their own

Springvale is a small community, and the people here urgently need help. Any donation will directly support families trying to recover from this disaster.
