My family fundraiser for moving expenses.

Dear family, friends, and community members/residents, we will be moving out, in just a matter of weeks. My family has lived here for almost 13 years. Unfortunately we had a few personal setbacks, and are facing a limited amount of time and resources. But we are determined, by God's grace, to make our new move before October 31st, 2024. This will be a bittersweet moment for us, because we will be moving for the first time, since our parents' death. We created this fundraiser, in order to help defray our moving costs and expenses. Hence my family is raising money via the GoFundMe. We are determined to find an affordable place, in this same neighborhood. This is home for us. The community that we love. This is community board 17, where I have been an active participant of the community board, in the Public Safety/Transportation and Housing committees- [almost 2 years]. This is the community, where I raised my son, who has special needs. I am a proud autism mom. This is my community, where I served as a parent advocate and participated, on several school district 75 - associations and councils, and special education forums - citywide. For 13 years, my family has been a voice, and support, for our neighbors and friends, on our block, and throughout the community.

In loving memory and beautiful legacy of both my father, a military veteran; and to my mother, who gave of herself to her church and her community... may they both rest in a blessed peace.
