my engine blew up and I’m poor

*full disclosure* it pains me very deeply to have gotten to this point lol everything is hard.

What I thought was going to be a simple fix with my car ended up being the engine needing replaced entirely. As you can imagine, this is not a cheap endeavor, and like most of us, I was nowhere near prepared financially for this bump in the road. If it were only me being inconvenienced by this, I probably wouldn’t be taking this route. However, it isn’t fair to my son, our family, my coworkers, or anyone else who has been kind enough to help us out while we have no other means of transportation. As a single mom bringing in only my income for my son, I’m truly at a loss and don’t know what else to do lol so here we are. Labor has been estimated at approximately $800 (assuming nothing more is wrong than what we currently know) and the price of the engine itself is undetermined at this time. I understand times are hard for everyone right now. Any and everything helps.

*if needed, I am more than willing to provide receipts, messages between me and the guys from the garage, whatever is necessary to prove the validity of my situation.
