Many of you might know I have been a Boy Scout since I was 8 years old. I am raising funds as part of my Eagle Scout community project to benefit Benison Farm, a community-driven urban farm in South St. Petersburg. My goal is to build three bat boxes for the farm, which sits next to Boyd Hill Park and a creek. These boxes will provide safe habitats for bats, helping to support the local ecosystem and natural pest control. If there are enough materials, I also hope to build one or two owl boxes.
All funds raised will go directly toward purchasing the materials needed for these wildlife boxes. Any leftover materials or money will be donated back to Benison Farm to help with their ongoing work in the community. I am also hosting a car wash in March to further support the project.
I invite you to support my project by donating, sharing this fundraiser, or attending the car wash. Every contribution—big or small—will help make a difference at Benison Farm. Thank you for your support!
