My Death Penalty Project

Since the earliest stages of my education I have known that I wanted to use the knowledge I had gained to help others. Volunteering, having played an important part in my decision to study law, is something I am committed to continue throughout my career. 

This year I will be undertaking a period of unpaid work at the Arizona Capital Representation Project. This is a non-profit legal service that assists persons facing the death penalty in Arizona through direct representation; consulting services; training; and education. 
The project receives no government funding and relies entirely upon the support of others. I intend to contribute to the work of their office by assisting with their caseload during 2020. 

Human rights and criminal justice are causes that I am passionate about and I believe that the death penalty is the ultimate denial of an individual's human rights. 

Any support will be extremely appreciated, not only by myself, but I'm sure by the lawyers at ACRP and their clients. 

My fundraising target is £2,500.00 which will contribute to the cost of: 
- Flights; 
- Accommodation; 
- Travel Expenses; and
- Insurance.
