I don't want to tell you what we are suffering and that I live in a poor tent in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, but my name is Hussein Nizar, I am 34 years old, I have a daughter, Sarah, she is 5 and a half years old, and my son, Aser, who is 3 years old. We all live in Gaza. I had big dreams before the war.
But all of them started to disappear within two years of the war. I try as much as possible to keep my children away from the atmosphere of war, bombing and destruction. I always try to provide them with some of the necessities of life, but I say it honestly that after two years of war I have fallen into a big hole. I have spent all my money, my house has been demolished, and my project, which was a café that provides coffee and internet to serve customers, has been destroyed. All of that is now non-existent.
I never thought I'd be linking to this site, but I believe God provides, and this might be a good opportunity.
This is my son Aser eating only bread and he put it in a plate, this picture was taken in the morning, it is breakfast for my son.
Can you stand for a moment in front of the picture of my daughter and son who were happy when I bought them just one banana for $5? Can you now support me to continue living in this difficult time?
