Hi everybody, my name is Brie and I'm hoping to raise money to help my dad get home.

Earlier this year, my dad, Phill, was diagnosed with lung cancer. Dad has spent the last few years living and working in Queenstown, New Zealand, but as work becomes unsustainable and with him living on his own it's important he makes it back to our hometown, Waihi, where there is family to support his quality of life.

Dad has continued to work in construction throughout a Queenstown winter to afford rent and necessities including time away in treatment when what's truly important is rest and support.

Unfortunately neither he or myself are in the financial position to afford the move home which is crucial for his health at this time.

So for the sake of his wellbeing I'm asking for help.

Any and all money donated will go directly to my Dad to cover the cost of travel, rental fees, care and hopefully some peace of mind so that he can continue on with his journey without the added pressure of making it to Waihi.
