Help my dad with his cancer diagnosis

please take a minute to read and help if you can.

Back in October, my dad was sadly diagnosed with oesophageal cancer which he’s got to undergo chemotherapy and have to undergo a complicated and dangerous surgery to remove the tumour, and then more chemotherapy after surgery. He has already endured biopsies, keyhole surgery’s and being poked and prodded by doctors in these last 8 weeks.

Because of this my dad is now out of work and has been for the past 8 weeks which has become a struggle for him and us as a family. Due to this he’s in a lot of pain and discomfort everyday let alone dealing with the mental side of things, my dad has and always will be an active person, he loves to work and he works harder than anyone I’ve known for his family.

My dad has 6 kids and 14 grandchildren. His youngest child being only 8 years old, this news has come as a massive shock for us as a family and as you can imagine we’re heartbroken he’s having to go through this awful situation. His appointments are going to be based in the royal Liverpool hospital and as you can imagine the travel expense's aren’t cheap as well as household bills on top of everything else.

My dad is 51 years old and otherwise fit and healthy. He just doesn’t deserve the stress of bills ontop of everything going on, so I’ve decided to set this up to try and take some of the stress and worry of my family and help make these coming months a little bit easier for him.

That being said, my dad being the sole income of the family home, so you can imagine the immense pressure and stress this puts on us all as a family with bills alone nevermind the run up to Christmas and any small donation would go a mile and be hugely appreciated from us all.
