My dad Tim Daniels, US army vet needs help

Here it goes...
My father, Tim Daniels, is a 60 year old US Army veteran that served through the Cold war and Desert Storm before retiring in the mid 90's.  He had been deployed to Germany, Kuwait, and was stationed throughout the US.  He is a proud Duffy and worked in military intelligence, was awarded a Bronze star for his service, among other accolades as well.  A fun guy with a great sense of humor and easy smile to those who got to know him.  Father of 4, brother, and friend.  Now, he's disabled with PTSD and still fights his demons daily.  Unfortunately, like many veterans, his coping mechanisms have taken a toll on his health, mentally and physically.  It's been a long hard road to this point, including trauma, loss, and a severe accident that limited his mobility after shattering his ankles.  He's currently in Florida, pretty much by himself.  He has people that come and check on him every so often and help him get to appointments, which I am eternally grateful for, but because of his deteriorating health, he is no longer able to live on his own or take care of himself daily (cooking, bathing, etc.). Up until a few weeks ago, we did not know any of this. We had lost communication for months because he didn't even have access to a phone and honestly wasn't in any shape to use one.  I was finally able to contact his apartment complex, which set the ball rolling to contact others that help with his medical, benefits, etc.  Because of this, when I was finally able to contact one of his VA reps, they recommended that he stay with family that can care for him pretty much 24/7, which is where my family and I come in.  We coincidentally have the opportunity to transition from Pennsylvania to Florida in order to help care for him, however, that is where we need help. Although my family (me, my husband, and our two boys) are in a position to move and care for him, we are not in a financial situation to do it.  We have been saving before this, but due to COVID and other issues with unemployment we haven't been able to save anywhere near the amount of money it would take.  This includes funds for a deposit on a place to live that is big enough for 5 people in the Palm Bay, FL area that we will be able to continue paying over the months (monthly rent in budget), travel expenses like gas and a moving truck, supplies for my dad (clothes, bedding, hygiene items, etc.), food, etc.  My husband (also a US Army vet) is looking for work down in the Palm Bay area and around, and I will be looking for work from home to make sure I will be home for my father. It is our hope that once we arrive we can already be on a  good track to getting on our feet there without fear of nowhere to go and have things fail before they can begin.  I know we can accomplish all of these things, and ultimately get Tim, my dad, into a healthy, and safe place where he has what he needs and no one needs to fear his getting lost or disappearing with no contact again.  We have been quite worried all this time, mostly because we are aware of his health issues, but have had little success in either keeping track of him, or helping him long term.  On behalf of my Dad, I am reaching out to you....fellow veterans, friends, family, landlords, strangers, everyone. Please help us help my Dad.  It would mean so much to him, I know it would.
