Hi Friends,
We’re reaching out to ask for your support for my cousin’s family during an incredibly difficult time. Her 13-year-old daughter is facing her second brain surgery this Monday, following a complicated first surgery and multiple emergency hospital visits.
What Happened:
She was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation and underwent a 6.5-hour brain surgery on July 9—double the time doctors initially anticipated. After spending a week in the hospital, she was discharged, only to be rushed back to the ER by ambulance two days later. Since then, she has had several ER visits, another 4-day hospital stay last week, and was admitted again on Thursday night (8/7). Her second surgery is now scheduled for Monday.
Why We’re Asking for Help:
On top of the emotional toll, the financial burden has been overwhelming. Every trip to the ER or neurosurgeon requires a 3-hour drive each way, and the medical expenses are mounting quickly. We’re raising funds to help cover travel, lodging, meals, and ongoing medical costs so the family can focus on their daughter’s recovery without added stress.
Any amount helps, and if you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign and keeping them in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you so much for your support.
