Hello kind souls, I am Atef, collecting donations on behalf of kanan and Sam. This is his struggle. kanan used to live in Rafah, which is now called Philadelphia. I had a beautiful home. Due to the war, my home was destroyed and my city was completely reduced to rubble. It is still occupied. kanan and his family were forced to flee and were displaced to the Mawasi area of Khan Younis. They were displaced dozens of times from one place to another. His life and the life of his family were destroyed. kanan was a school student and due to the war, his education was interrupted. His family of 6 is suffering from famine, a very difficult life, and a lack of life's necessities. The family has no income. Our life is difficult. No electricity, no clean water, no safety. We have nothing, and most importantly, no hope. We spent more than 4 months without enough food or even flour. Some days my mother would go to bed crying every night because she could not feed her children. We are not only suffering from material deprivation but also the psychological effects of living in a war zone that has destroyed everything. I miss my old life so much I miss my friends, my toys, my clean clothes, my school, my teachers and my friends I don't know where they are now I know you are a wonderful person you wouldn't wish such pain and despair on anyone your contribution no matter how small will lead to a brighter life by supporting this campaign you are not just helping one family you are standing up for peace dignity and the right to live without fear we are so grateful for your precious time in reading our story with your help we can move beyond the darkness of war towards a future full of hope and light
