A few days ago, on Wednesday the 30th, my car was stolen, and it left me devastated. I had just finished my work shift and was on my way back to my car when I was shocked to find it missing from where I had parked it only six hours earlier. My immediate realization was that it had been stolen, so I promptly contacted the police, who confirmed my worst fears – my car was gone.

The following morning, I visited the police station to file a report. A few hours later, I received a call that initially brought relief – my car had been located, and I could retrieve it from the towing lot. However, when I finally saw my car, it was clear that it had been severely vandalized. The only things left intact were the seats and tires; everything else was in shambles.

As many of you know, times are tough, and no one expects their car to be stolen (lesson learned). To make matters worse, I only had liability coverage. I still owe over $10,000 in payments for the car, not including the towing fees I had to pay to retrieve it. Repairing it will likely cost more than its current value, and I can't even bear to think about the personal belongings that were taken from inside.

I understand that times are challenging for everyone, and I'm not one to ask for help lightly. However, as a travel bartender, having a car is essential for me to maintain my job and support my family. This is why I'm reaching out and asking for your assistance.
