Hello, my name is Seneca. I'm a teacher here in Seattle, Washington.
On April 6th, I was not easy like Sunday morning because I awakened to find that my car was not where I parked it. The night before, two creepy-looking idiots dressed in all black sat in front of my house and waved to me as I left my car on the street for what I didn't know would turn out to be the last time.
Unfortunately, I'm not rich or well-off or even all that mentally stable for that matter, so this really affected me deeply on many levels. I'm trying to have a good perspective about the whole situation, but I used 3 years of savings to buy this car and the truth is I could really use help after what feels like such a great setback.
I set the goal to the value of the car, but with the sentimental value, destroyed Pokémon cards, and all of the lip gloss I left in the car, it very well could be much higher. Reaching the goal isn't what's important here though; it's about community and the peace of mind to know that I have one that cares about me enough to help at all.
Thanks so much, everyone!
