Hi,

my name is Rob Halpin.

I have started this Gofundme to help my oldest brother Carl who’s in need. Unfortunately some weeks ago, he was rushed to hospital to tragically find out he has a cancerous tumour growing within his sinus. It was so aggressive if they waited any longer to operate it would have spread to his brain and he would have passed away.

During an agonising 15 hour operation, they had to Cut and open up the face, and crack the lower mandibular to make a flap to gain entry to the inner face.

With success, the incredible doctors managed to find the blood source which was feeding the cancer.

But during the surgery, both lungs collapsed and he had a profusion bleed that meant he required two litres of blood.

They have unfortunately had to remove his left eye and have reconstruction surgery of the damage original socket.

Skin grafts from his stomach, which the plastic surgeon used to help rebuild his face.

My brother is a very talented tattoo artist who runs his own business over in the Republic of Ireland.

I have started this Gofundme, to get the help and funding off wonderful helpful people, to help pay for Medical fees, Mortgage and bills, to keep his shop where he works as a tattoo artist and most of all, once he has fully recovered to help with a prosthetic eye.

Some of the proceeds will absolutely be donated to cancer research and to help towards the hospital staff who have been absolutely amazing.
