My dear friend Vipin, who many of you know has taken incredible care of me and others during our travels in India, is someone I want to LIFT UP this year. He has been our protector, our guide, and our comfort, always making sure we were safe, cared for, and welcomed like FAMILY. 

As Indian custom your sons live with you forever, eventually bringing their wives and children into the home. Vipin once bought land with the dream of securing a future for his family. But when Covid struck, he couldn’t work for nearly 2 years and 7 months. In order to simply feed his loved ones, he had to sell that land. The weight of that loss has been heavy, but his hope hasn’t dimmed.

My birthday wish this year is to help Vipin not only buy land again but break ground on the first real home for his family. I want to jumpstart that dream with love and generosity. Your support, no matter the size, will directly help him rebuild the foundation for his family’s future.

This is my way of honoring both the immense kindness he has shown us and the power of community when we come together.
