Hi, I’m Anne-Maree, though most people know me as Annie.

I’m shaving off all my hair to raise funds for my incredible big brother, Declan, who’s recently been diagnosed with two types of lymphoma:

• Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma, an aggressive and fast-growing cancer

• Follicular Lymphoma, which, while treatable, is sadly incurable and will require lifelong monitoring and treatment.

Declan is just 42. He’s a devoted husband to Keira and a loving dad to three young boys—two of whom are autistic, and their youngest, Moby, has complex needs that have required constant care and advocacy since birth.

Despite the devastating diagnosis, Declan has faced chemotherapy with strength and positivity. His hair has already begun to fall out, so the family rallied together and shaved his head. He looks amazing—but I was in tears watching the video.

Declan only started a new job four months ago, meaning he has no sick leave. Worse still, he discovered he doesn’t have income protection insurance through his super. That means no financial safety net while he undergoes treatment

Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping Declan and his family cover everyday living costs while he’s unable to work.

My goal is simple: to give Declan the space to focus on healing, and Keira the support she needs to care for their boys and restore some sense of normality.
