Hi my name is Adam and I am running the Cumbria Marathon to help raise money for my Best Friend Charlie who is fighting stage 4 skin cancer and also raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Ive watched my best friend fight this horrible disease for over a year now and he is the strongest man I know and he always keeps positive and keeps pushing even through the worst of times. I also know there are many more people out there who are fighting this horrible disease and are dealing with the same problems day in and day out!

I will be splitting the money raised 50/50 with Charlie’s Cancer Fundraiser and Cancer Research UK. This is very close to my heart and I wanna do anything I can to help not only Charlie but everyone else who is out there fighting against cancer!
