"My name is Mohammad Jawad Al-Haddad I was born in a country torn by wars, but I have always dreamed of a simple life of love and reassurance. I didn’t know that my destiny would bring me challenges, it never occurred to me.

I am a married man, and I have a beautiful, special child, born with a small heart but full of immeasurable love. Our baby was born with Down syndrome and a birth defect in the heart, and from the moment she was born, all I have, and all I live for, is to see her smile. I called it “Ayat”, because it illuminates the darkness of the days, even in the most difficult moments.

My other son is named Jawad, a small knight, his big heart helps me carry the burdens despite his young age. Jawad taught me that strength does not come from the body, but from determination and faith.

The pregnancy was not only heavy because of my child’s illness, but because I became the only breadwinner of my large family. My responsibilities include my father and mother (whom are elderly and suffer from chronic diseases), my brothers Mahmoud and Moatassem and my sisters. The war robbed us of everything: home, work, safety, and even memories."

This is part of my families story. My extended family in the states have set this campaign in hopes to help us. My name is Sameh. I am a father from Gaza trying to help my family survive. This campaign will help support my elderly parents and relatives. My Father's name is Mohammad Jawad Al-Haddad. He is 64 years old. He had a stroke that has affected his foot due to psychological pressure. He was beaten badly and lost his hearing. My father also lost his home and his job, of course, due to the situation here in Gaza. My father lives in a small tent with my mother, my fathers two brothers, and myself. My mother's name is Nafoud, she is 58 years old. She also suffers from high blood pressure. My elderly parents and relatives are in great need of your support. Being older with health conditions and disabilities amongst the already difficult situation of trying to survive everyday here is unbearable. My family needs medical treatment and daily support. We are in need of all the basic necessities from food, clean water, warm blankets, winter clothing, medication and a bigger tent to survive the cold winter and hot summer days. All of our lives have been affected gravely. We suffer not just from being homeless, being hungry and cold, but we are exhausted mentally and physically from fighting to survive everyday. Resisting to give up and survive the bombings and displacements is an everyday battle. Please if you can, we are asking for donations to support my parents and relatives. How the funds will be used:

All funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping the Al-Haddad family who have been displaced due to the ongoing crisis in Gaza. The donations will be used for:

Emergency shelter (temporary housing, tents, or rent when available)

Food and clean water

Medical care and medications

Transportation and evacuation costs (if the border opens)

Basic living supplies (clothing, hygiene items, fuel, etc.)

Who will receive the funds:

Funds will be received and managed by Ciomara Franco, a trusted friend based outside of Gaza. Ciomara will withdraw the donations and then transfer 100% of the funds to the family using a safe and verified method (such as [e.g., MoneyGram, Western Union, or trusted intermediary]).

Every transfer will be documented and monitored to ensure transparency. We are in direct contact with the family and will continue to share updates, photos, and receipts when possible so you can see the real impact of your support.
