Hi, my name is Rod and I've created this account for my cousin Tony.

It’s weird how life can change in an instant. Those are the words we read as we learned about my cousin’s accident.

He was hanging a string of lights on his deck when the footstool he was standing on tipped and he fell to the ground, breaking his neck.

That was over two months ago and after spending weeks in and out of hospitals and in a rehabilitation center, he has finally been able to return home. However, he is paralyzed from the chest down, and while he can move his arms, he has no grasping power with his hands. Prayers are that with continued therapy that will change.

While there is medical insurance to cover some of the medical costs, a lift van, handicap renovations to their home and some costly medical equipment are not covered. Our goal is to hopefully raise funds that will cover some, if not all these costs.

Tony has always been a very independent and active guy with an upbeat personality. Please open your hearts and give what you can. Also, please pray for continued healing for Tony and for Cindy too as she will be Tony’s main caregiver and taking on many responsibilities that Tony has handled in the past.

Yes, life can change in an instant. I’m hoping we can help make their life-changing instant a bit easier for them in the future.
