We’re reaching out to ask for help and support for our brother Jason, who recently went through an unexpected and very serious medical emergency.

After struggling with intense headaches and vertigo for a couple of weeks, Jason was taken to the hospital, where doctors discovered he had Hydrocephalus a dangerous buildup of fluid on the brain. This was caused by a colloid cyst, a benign tumor sitting at the top of his brain stem, which was blocking the normal flow of cerebrospinal fluid. The pressure building in his brain put him at critical risk, and we were told that without intervention, it could have led to sudden death.

Due to the severity of his condition, Jason was rushed into surgery. On Sunday, doctors performed an emergency procedure to relieve the pressure by draining the fluid, and on Monday, he underwent a partial craniotomy to remove the cyst. While the surgery went as well as it could, recovery from this kind of procedure is slow and intense. He is expected to be off work for at least 6 to 8 weeks, possibly longer depending on how healing goes.

Jason is a devoted husband, dad, brother, son, and friend. He works hard to provide for his family, and this unexpected health crisis has put a heavy financial burden on him and Hillary during an already stressful time.

We’re hoping to raise funds to help cover lost income during his recovery, as well as assist with medical bills and everyday expenses while he focuses on healing.
