MUTUAL AID: HELP TRANS CHICAGO LAID OFF STAFF!

Trans Chicago has been heavily impacted by the halting of CDC Federal Grants. These grants were utilized for Staff's salaries, the TEC space, and materials. Unfortunately the Puerto Rican Cultural Center laid off most of the Trans Chicago Staff due to budget cuts.

Staff that was laid off is ready to still continue events and programming on a volunteer-based scale. The amount goal will be able to sustain four Trans Chicago laid-off Staff members for about a month.

We are currently looking at sustainability plans for Trans Chicago.
