Help Mutesi and her family rebuild their home
Two years ago when i was in Kigali, I met Ngabo, a fifteen year old boy. He was walking on the street trying to raise money for his family. During our conversation, Ngabo mentioned that he had five siblings, three of whom have albinism. My family invited him home for a meal and to hear his story. Later on, we drove him to his house. I met his family and got emotionally attached to Mutesi, Ngabo's youngest sister. She was four years old. They showed me the inside of their home and I was heartbroken after seeing their living conditions. Few days later, I reached out to three close friends: Karen, Laurianne, and Melissa. I explained their experience and asked for advice on how to support Mutesi's family. Following our conversations, we decided to create Izuba Charity, a non-profit organization with the goal of helping families like Mutesi's that live in poor conditions.
Donating for the future of Mutesi and her family guarantees a safe living space, sustainable shelter and a place they can call their new home.
