Hi everyone! My name is Nazira. I am a student at Barnard College of Columbia University studying on scholarship. My family living in Uzbekistan lost our small business in a devastating fire on June 12th, 2024. We are experiencing over $50,000 in loss & damages as nearly the entire business was essentially burnt to the ground by a freak incident. I am doing everything in my power to support my family from where I am, including sending them my scholarship money, but since I am their only working child and still in school, it is unfortunately not enough. We are seeking your support to rebuild our lives. Please open your hearts and help me restore my family’s livelihood. Every contribution counts — even $1 can go towards us buying a loaf of bread in Uzbekistan. If you can’t contribute, then please share and keep us in your thoughts.

Every milestone in this GoFundMe will be shared, including proof of what your donation is going towards. If you know me in any way, and even if you don’t, I am truly counting on your help. Please trust that your hard-earned money will be going indeed to helping us. Thank you.
