MUSIC MANIA TV 30TH ANNIVERSARY- HIP HOP HEALTH SUMMIT
Donation protected
Music Mania Television began as a need to answer the question, where is my Hip Hop. It started in a small town, at a small public access television station on the top floor of a public school, town called Fitchburg Access Channel FATV. In the editing room, I pieced together stories of hip hop using music videos, reminiscent of Ralph McDaniels and The Vid Kid's Video Music Box. The first national artist we interviewed was Lil Kim, big up to Brooklyn, where I am from, after BIG's death. We have gone on to interview, air performances, showcase videos, demonstrate authentic stories, and live through this platform to 2025.
We continue on with our stories through Music Mania Radio, TheOneCedBoogie YouTube channel, WeGotJoints radio show, and Music Mania Television Studios, LLC. Along the road, we have developed our relationship with Mass Humanities, conducting Reading Frederick Douglass Together for over 10 summers and 3 Black History Months, and Mass Cultural Council, Show Me the Funny: Stand Up Comedy Workshop, and Worcester Arts Council, Hip Hop Health Summit. All are service-oriented cultural/entertainment enrichment opportunities for people.
Our 30th Anniversary we want all participants to attend for no charge. We are asking for donations to pay for the company that provides the sound and microphones, stage, chairs, tents, pay for the panelists, DJs, permits, streaming service, production team and stipend for the day of the event volunteers.
The funds you will provide will ensure those in attendance get a quality FREE event.
Thanks in advance
