Musang Gang's Closure

Hi, my name is Melissa Miranda and I am the owner of Musang in Seattle. Last week on Jan 14, a water pipe burst and flooded our space. We learned this morning that the damage extends beyond what we originally thought and were informed this morning that we must close ASAP to begin repairs. We were told it would be a minimum of one month, but it could be longer.

As we navigate this next month of repair and renovation, we also must think about what happens next for our team. We are working with our insurance company, but sadly, we also know how long this process takes, and that sometimes the outcome isn't as we hope.

Many of you have asked how you can help, and I honestly think what could be best, is to help us take care of our people. We have a team of just under 40 people and they are the crew that shows up everyday and brings so much of themselves to share with you our hospitality and stories.
