My wonderful neighbor, Murray, lives alone, and is effectively blind while he recovers from cataract surgery and treatment for his glaucoma. He's lived in our building for 50 years.

In the meantime, he can't drive--to get groceries, to his medical appointments, or to do his part-time job doing laundry, which he relies on to supplement his social security income.

We're hoping to keep him afloat during his recovery for the next 2 or so months.
