Hello! My name is Kate, and I work as the Assistant Clerk for Community at West Monkton Parish Council. Part of my role involves developing youth services across the parish. We have established a very successful Youth Café/Youth Club at the BACH, and we are about to initiate some detached youth work in the community. This effort aims to engage with young people who do not attend our Youth Café to understand their needs and wishes.

We would like to involve young people in painting a mural on the container at the Pump Track, in collaboration with Aerosol Art in Taunton. Young people will participate in the design and artwork process, and we hope this initiative will help them feel valued within our community. It will promote a sense of belonging and foster a sense of ownership, encouraging them to respect and take care of this fantastic resource.
