Help Munis and His Mother
Donation protected
My friend and brother Munis has asked me to organise this fundraiser because he is unable to do so himself.
He "lives" in Gaza.
All words are his own.
Please read below:
"I am Munis Qudaih from Palestine. I live in Gaza. I am 30 years old I am a young man, confined to a wheelchair. I no longer have anything here in Gaza except my small wheelchair that I move around on. I was safe in my home with my mother, who is also confined to a wheelchair due to a stroke, and the war broke out and we began the journey of displacement and suffering 5 times. We were displaced from one place to another and I was exposed to the most bad conditions that a person can experience until we ended up in a small tent made of plastic and wood on the border.
We also began our journey from the cold and winter weather, anticipating what would happen the day after the war, until we received news that our small house had been demolished by Israeli vehicles, and the garden of our house, in which we grow some vegetables and fruit trees, had been wiped out.
From the ground, my electric wheelchair, which I consider to be a loyal and eternal friend of mine, was burned by an incendiary shell, and we began to receive shocks one after another, and we became unable to provide the needs of people with disabilities.
Our only dream is now for the war to end, the sorrows and suffering to end, and for us to return to camping on the rubble of our house and striving among the obstacles and difficulties of life in order to provide for our daily lives.
We are launching this campaign to ask your beautiful hearts for a little love and help to rebuild our small house with its beautiful small details, which contained within its walls the greatest love story of a mother and her son struggling in the harsh life. Providing an electric wheelchair to facilitate mobility and freedom of movement through the streets destroyed by the Israeli machine. My mother and I are in your hands to carry us with your compassionate hearts."
