For decades, Seamie Harty and Jim Shanahan were familiar faces in Nenagh, running one of the town’s most popular menswear shops together. While they spent years outfitting the men of Tipperary, their bond goes far beyond the shop floor.

Seamie Harty, well-known not just as a businessman but as a stalwart of the rugby community, has dedicated much of his life to the sport. From his days as a talented player to coaching at Nenagh Ormond RFC and with Munster, Seamie has always understood the power of a team. Now, he is teaming up once again with his lifelong friend, Jim Shanahan, for a cause that has become deeply personal.

Jim’s beautiful wife is currently battling Parkinson’s. Like so many families across Tipperary, Jim and Seamie have seen firsthand that the services provided by the local Nenagh Parkinson’s branch are truly invaluable. These services offer a lifeline of support, but they rely on the generosity of the community to keep going.
